"Little Trails" Horse Camp
Sometimes our friends gather at the camp after a ride. We provide enclosures for horses
right by the covered shelter.
Even though the campground was designed with riders in mind, it is a nice spot for family and friends to gather to celebrate
birthdays and holidays. The horse trails make excellent hiking trails, too.

World Renowned Trail Ride Critic Dutch Henry's Ride Proclamation for-
Little Trails Horse Camp - CTC- Martinsville IN - 9-19-2010
Howdy Folks,
Debbie Wallace and her volunteers are invitin' everybody to a high time at the Little Trials Horse Camp. Don't miss this chance to try an ACTHA sanctioned CTC. One of those casual competitions that are fun for everybody who can sit a horse; a six mile casual trail ride with a natural obstacle about every mile so judges can keep score and hand out ACTHA Bucks, prizes and awards at lunch - This is a casual competition perfect for all levels of riders! If you trail ride…You can compete!
Roll in Saturday anytime to set up camp among the big shade trees, and ride with friends as you explore the beautiful trails on your own. Plan on being back in camp by suppertime and gather around the campfire for vittles, vistin', and a first rate demonstration by professional groomer, Michele Mendall. After Michele's demonstration settle in for a night of toe tappin' music. Boy howdy, Debbie knows how to kick of a get-together!
Sunday morning breakfast is being served at the "Shelter House," at 8a.m. Ride Briefing at 9a.m. - Ride Out at 10:00. The trail Debbie mapped out for the CTC meanders through their pine forest, over the meadow, through massive hardwoods and across a few streams. Folks who have ridden these trails say they are the most pleasant they've ever traveled.
After the ride tend your horse then gather at the Shelter House for lunch while the judges add up the score sheets and hand out all the ACTHA Bucks, prizes and awards. Carolyn Hovious will put on a demonstration of Equine Massage. Why not hire her to give a special treat to your horse? After all I'd wager there was a few times your horse made you look good in spite of your miscues. A little later, barefoot trimmer Mark Rundenborg will also put on a wonderful demonstration. Holy Cow, where else can you take in demos from professionals like these all at one place in the shade? Grooming, massage, and barefoot trimming great demos for every horse lover I reckon!
Grab your hat, brush your horse, load your rig and call all your friends then make tracks for Little Trails Horse Camp for a fun filled weekend! Check them out at www.wallacehorsefarms.com .
Call Debbie Wallace at 765-346-0969 to reserve your campsite and for all the finer details of this event. Go to www.actha.us to register for the ride.
Gitty Up!
